Season 2011/2012 School Calendar

September

• Studio Opens Tuesday September 6

October

• The studio will be closed October 10-15 for Miss Deena is out of town

• The week of October 17 is Bring a Friend to Class Week

• The week of October 24 is Halloween Costume Week

• First Recital Costume Payments are due this week also

• The studio will be closed October 31 for Halloween

November

• Costume sizing will take place during class the week of November 14 thru November 19;

• Second Costume Payment will be due this week.

• The studio will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday Tuesday November 22 thru Saturday November 26

December

• The week of December 15 thru December 21 will be a gift exchange/holiday party in the class (if you wish to not participate just notify Miss Deena)
  

• Final Costume Payments are due this week, no costumes will be ordered if not paid in full and can not be ordered late without additional charges.
  

• The studio will be closed for winter break Thursday December 22 thru Saturday December 31

January 2012

• The studio reopens from winter break Monday January 2

• The week of January 23 thru January 28 will be class observation week

• This is also when the recital costumes and songs will be heard and shown!

February

• The studio will be closed February 20 for Presidents’ Day

• Love will be in the air, while working hard on recital dances!

March

• Irish eyes will be dancing as we continue to work on recital dances!

April

• The studio will be closed for spring break Wednesday April 4 thru Tuesday April 10 and reopen Thursday April 28
  

• Tentative Costume Distribution Week April 16 – 21
  

• Tickets go on sale April 28 at 4:00pm

May

• The week of May 19 will be Spirit Week to kick off recital time, wear any Deena’s School of Dance logo attire or studio colors with face paint or funky hair to represent this week; this will also be the last week of classes at the studio for the season!

• The studio will be closed for Memorial Day Weekend Saturday May 26 thru Monday May 28

June

• Recital Week:  Rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday May 30 and 31 Saturday

• June 2 is a day of rest with no show and Show Days Friday June 1 at 6:30pm and Sunday June 3 at 12:00pm.

• June’s full tuition still applies this month for the 10 month break down Sept – June and Recital week.      
  This week is mandatory if participating in the recital!
