Before You Start

This page contains some useful information that is good to know before you get started in one or our programs

School Policies

Attendance

Good attendance is important for the student's advancement and technique. Please make every effort to attend on a weekly basis. Rewards and scholarships given at the end of the season for perfect attendance. The best results for the student and the class are achieved through dedication.

Make-Ups

Make ups are always available for personal absences or classes missed due to weather closings. No tuition refunds are given for any missed classes.

Bad Weather

The studio will close if we feel it is in the best interest and safety for our families. If the local schools close afterschool activities then the dance school will be closed. If in doubt, call the studio and there will be a message no later then 3:00 pm.

Recital

A dance recital will be held each year during the first full week of June. It is not mandatory but encouraged for this is the chance to let all the hard work and dedication during the year shine. June's tuition covers the 2 rehearsals and 2 performances, for there are still in the learning care of the dance studio. Both rehearsals and performances are mandatory if you choose to participate.

Class Observation

No one is allowed in the dance studio room during class time. There is a viewing monitor in the lobby to observe class each week if you wish to stay. The last week in January will be a class observation week. It will be during this time that costumes and songs for the recital will be revealed.
